In the afternoon we will employ the techniques introduced in the morning seminar to sample vegetation near our campsite. Students will work in small groups and will have the opportunity to try each of the techniques. After the sampling we will have time to present data and discuss as a group the results of the exercise. Everyone will be responsible for a short write-up of the methodology of each technique, the type of data collected and the biases introduced by each method.
