Staff Assistant/Ecologist Lee graduated from Colorado State University with a BS in Botany and is currently pursuing a PhD at the University of Colorado at Boulder. His main topic of study is how the distribution of snow across the tundra landscape controls the distribution patterns of plant communities. His work is focused on the 100 Year Snowfence Experiment at Niwot Ridge, in the Front Range of Colorado. Lee has a deep love for the out-of-doors and is an avid backcountry skier, mountain biker, hiker, backpacker and is currently learning to play the banjo.
