Here are some pictures, journal notes, and comments from participants in our 1999 visits to the Canadian Arctic. Two groups of graduate and undergraduate students from around the U.S. and Canada spent four weeks along the Hiukitak River (section one) or along an 1800 mile transect through the Canadian Arctic (section two) as participants in Arctic Field Ecology,a field course offered by the University of Minnesota.
